How to nominate awesome content, earn Gems and grow your virtual "Net Worth" for fun & imaginary profit...

 
Step 1. Nominate content

Just click the orange thumbs up icon conveniently found when hovering over any video or sound thumbnail. The thumbs up icon enables you to "Nominate" any video or sound you come across in your travels for a "Gemmy!"

Once you've nominated something it will appear on both the "Nominated" & "Gemmies" tabs allowing other gemsters to upvote or downvote it and your "Net Worth" will be calculated as the votes pour in.

Your net worth is the total of all the upvotes you've received minus all the downvotes you've received for everything you have ever nominated since becoming a gemster at large.

But be warned! Once you nominate something you cannot
UN-NOMINATE it! So choose wisely young grasshopper!
Step 2. Head to The "Nominated" or "Gemmies" tab(s) to upvote or downvote content.
Here's your chance to enhance or help ruin another Gemster's net worth!

What's the difference between the "Nominated" and "Gemmies" tabs?

The "Nominated" tab shows the most recently nominated content...

The "Gemmies" tab shows the most popular content for any given 24 hour period...

How do I know how much another Gemster's worth?

Just view any user's profile by clicking their username or avatar.
Every gemster profile will list that member's net worth. As you can see below gemster, palboy's hurtin' for certain with a measly 8 gems to his name.

If you're logged in you can find your net worth right in the top banner
of the player page to the right of the FMGEM Search Bar
